All Pakistan Trade Union Congress APTUC) is a confederation of workers and the labour unions in Pakistan. In order to overcome the problems faced by Workers within the country.

The All Pakistan Trade Union Congress has clear vision and mission that is:

• Every members of society has a basic and inalienable right of authentic human development.
• It is a right and duty of man to do needful for his personal and society development
• In a truly democratic society, workers must have active and effective participation in all social decisions.
• Reject all those social theories and systems which uphold or result in the dominance of a minority over the majority.
• Social and responsible ownership of the means of production and distribution.
• Democratic participation in the process of production.
• Distribution and utilization of the fruits of production.
• Democratic planning of the entire political and economic structure.

Consequently the All Pakistan Trade Union Congress rejects all of those economic theories and system that uphold or result into the monopoly of property by a particular group of productive property or in their monopoly of economic decision. In particular the All Pakistan Trade Union Congress rejects all forms of capitalism and Marxism that derives the majority of society of its share in the economic wealth and decision making. The question as to how movement fully catering to the national requirements of the country could be organized, remains to be answer in the light of thee resources at our disposal and the general conditions prevailent in the country.

APTUC is utilizing its International and Regional linkages to strengthen the National Trade Union Movement and for the promotion of workers solidarity.
